Moon 340I with balanced, phono and DAC
The MOON 340i is a powerful and highly versatile integrated amplifier from Canadian manufacturer Simaudio. Delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the 340i combines excellent control and dynamic capability with the refined, transparent and musical presentation MOON electronics are known for.
Built around a substantial 400VA toroidal power supply and proprietary MOON bipolar output transistors, the 340i offers plenty of current for demanding loudspeakers. Its Class A/B amplifier operates in Class A for the first 5 watts, while MOON's no-global-feedback design helps preserve detail, speed and natural tonal character.
